A doctrine of the Trinity is the belief that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three equal divine "persons" who make up the one God. The God who shows Himself in His creative activity and revelation. The divine persons are also separate from each other. Three distinct persons-Father, Son, and Spirit-each of whom is fully God in a way that is distinct from the others. Both the Father and the Son send the Holy Spirit out into the world.
The hidden mysteries in GodThe Trinity is one of the "mysteries hidden in God, which can be known only by God Himself." In the strict sense, it is a "mystery of faith" and of the experiences of believers. The Old Testament is replete with examples of the Trinitarian nature of God, both in His work of creation and in His revelation. The believer's understanding of the Trinity is based on the revelation expressed in the words and related historical events. And as Jesus said, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him," the Father himself comes into the hearts of believers when they acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God, then we will see him and make our home with him (John 14:23).
The gift of God - how it was given to mankind
Wanting to reveal Himself to humankind, God entered human history to reveal the Trinity. According to John 3:16, God so loved the world that He sent His only Son. Through the Holy Spirit, who was given to us, God's love has been poured out into our hearts (Rom 5:5).
The basis for faith in the Trinity is God's self-revelation in the plan of salvation, which is a gift to believers. God reveals Himself to them by sending His only begotten Son down from heaven to planet earth to redeem the lives of believers from destruction and to deliver them from the curse of the law and its ministry of death and all its forms. God paid a high price for the plan of salvation for mankind. This thought is essential. It is therefore based solely on the gift that God gives to believers when he gives them the opportunity to know him in trust. Through his Son, he not only redeems the lives of believers from ruin, but also makes them righteous in Christ.
How are believers baptized?
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all Christians are baptized. All other Christian mysteries are illuminated by the Trinity.
Conclusion
The mystery of the Trinity is thus based on these two ideas: that God reveals himself through historical events and that in these events he truly gives himself to believers. They form a fundamental and distinctive feature of the evangelical religion that sets it apart from other schools of thought and religious experience.
